That LEAD me to look online at Scottish Wildlife Trust - we do have Little Egret locally but I’ve not seen a Great Egret. However, they’re both at Montrose Basin where you can compare their size & colouring.
Amazing birds & here’s a true TALE: last year, a five months old Bar-tailed Godwit broke the record for a single flight, flying nonstop over 13,500km from the Yukon Peninsula in Alaska to Tasmania in 11 days.
