We're currently away in N. Yorkshire near Thirsk for a few nights, visiting relatives. Lovely AREA but bitterly cold wind - warm and cosy in the van though.

The Humber Bridge is quite DEAR to me. When I was a student at Hull University I used to watch its construction from the higher floors of the Brynmor Jones Library.

He did indeed. We often used to see him coming in through the DOOR of the library after riding his bike to the university, with one trouser leg tucked into his sock (to keep it away from the bike chain).
