If red and green should never be seen, then how come we see red and green side by side naturally in nature?

Was always told blue and green should never be seen except upon a fool as a kid. Since heard red and green should be ever be seen except with something in between.
So I've no idea. Both probably?

They also die if you leave them in the freezer.
Please keep your dogs at room temperature!
Blue and green should never be seen, unless there's a colour inbetween.
That's what I was told lol

Adopt a rescue, rescue dogs make great pets, don't support puppy farms.
The road can be tough and rough, but what you put in you get back 10 x more.

Think it's the first one - if you can see the port and starboard lights on a vessel it's probably heading straight for you!
That's my understanding of that particular saying as well!!

Well that was a mixed bunch of answers everyone, but thank you.
A few friends of mine were having a debate on what colours you should never wear together.
I always wear blues and greens together and had never thought about it before and at our son and daughter in laws wedding both Mother of the Bride and myself Mother of the Groom wore wedding outfit/dresses with various shades of blue and green in them (so thinking the designers couldn't have thought it unlucky to make our dresses in those colours.)
What Hacksaw Bob and Jelboy53 says sounds a top answer as my own thoughts before were to do with Red and Green trafic lights, so not too far out.
Maybe there always has been the two sayings running side by side or maybe they've been muddled together over the years, but think I'll take in what Tentz said - " If you don't know it doesn't matter" and just wear any colours together. (apart from red and green that is )
