I've just had Mr Ed Byrne the very funny comedian in my shop. He's on stuff like Mock the week etc, nice guy. He's into camping with his young family it seems and he mentioned something to do with him being in the new Camping Mag this month so look out for that.
I ofcourse embarrassed myself by saying "are you that famous Irish comedian" and promptly forgot his name.

I'm not one for live gigs, of any sort, but happened to catch him at Edinburgh Fringe about 10 years ago*... and he was absolutely brilliant.
One of the better one's in my limited experience.


I hope you told him where to come, if he needs advice!

I've seen the issue of the camping mag, he's got a tentipi covered in stickers from his travels. Doesn't seem to be doing it any harm!

I remember seeing him on a prog....Three men in a boat I think it was....Hitched a lift on their boat...And headed off out into the wilds of the Scottish Highlands for a wee jaunt all on his lonesome.....Mucho respect......
