That's all I can extract from the gray matter at the minute.

A list of people I have met other than the one I mentioned before
Walter Smith, football manager. Worked with his son. Knew him through work
Craig Brown, the Scotland manager - was in the same class as his son. It was a small town.
Tam Devine, Historian and author - my dean of studies. Also a few other well known Historians. ( It was my degree)
Dougie Vipond - at a concert.
Marti Pellow - when I worked in the bar trade.
Saoirse Ronan - My wife knows her mother
Henry Kelly, journalist and Game for a laugh- through the bar work.
Jim Baxter - footballer.
A lot of Partick Thistle players over the years.
A lot of Scottish politicians, many now deceased. Gordon Wilson, Alex Salmond, Margaret Ewing, Winnie Ewing, Margo Macdonald, Douglas Henderson, Donald Stewart, Billy Wolfe. A lot of them I knew when I was a child through my father. Some of them were my babysitters
Then a few well known people in Lithuania. Most would be unknown but one was at one time the world's strongest man.
Oh and me
I was interviewed on the Lithuanian national broadcaster on a current affairs type show. Got my 15 minutes of fame.

Timothy Dalton shared a flat with the brother of a friend when they were in the National Youth Theatre. I was introduced to him through a car window after a performance. I must have been about 14 or 15!

Not so much met, though I have spoken briefly to a few including two great musicians, John Mayall and Kenny Ball. Two unlikely encounters were exchanging greetings with Helmut Kohl, the German chancellor and almost falling over Bjork in an Amsterdam hotel.
