Our forecast was correct, we had snow from dark yesterday. Stopped now and road clear, but car looks like an igloo.
Same here, our forecast was correct too, this morning roads appear clear, but gardens are white, and yes, our car looks like an igloo too. Will have to go and clear it soon, as going out in about an hour.
I heard yesterday that local council were planning for up to 4 inches of snow on higher ground, starting at about 7pm last night. 7.30pm is started snowing, we are at lower level and this morning a couple of inches on the car.
However as it has been warm recently the ground isn't cold so roads were fine, just a sweep over the car.
It did remind me that I need new tyres on the car because even a 4wd is useless without decent rubber on each corner.

We towed the van down from South Cumbria to Preston this morning, for its first service (we normally use a mobile engineer but there were a few little bits we needed sorting by the dealer). Very picturesque over the hills but nothing at all at lower levels. Pretty chilly but bright and sunny this afternoon.
We had quite heavy snow in the Forest of Dean. Lasted all morning to mid afternoon. Didn't pitch very much seemed to be a degree or two to high for that.
We drove back from Norwich to Hertfordshire this morning. It was drizzling when we left and cloudy all the way home, but no sign of snow so far. The car's thermometer showed an outside temperature of 3 degrees all the way home this morning.

We had a yellow snow warning last night but this morning everywhere and everything is covered with white snow
Yellow snow - the stuff you don’t eat, isn’t it?! Only sleet here on the North Downs - frost this morning.
