according to google maps as of march 2023 there where no barriers across the car park at the leisure center area nothing either at blutcher street and then there is up near the rnli lifeguard station
Two good car parks, no height barriers when we visited last year.
No problem for 6m pvc, there were a few bigger moho in car parks. There are signs to car parking which was easy to follow - think they showed 'Gormley - Another Place'.
Another interesting feature of that beach is the storm beach, which consists of material cleared from Liverpool after the Blitz.
