Haven't been on here for a while our year started with my youngest brother having a heart attack he's well again thank goodness my hubby spent six weeks in hospital with sepsis and three months at home not able to get down the stairs he is also well on the mend my sister in law passed away due to copd my Mums landlord decided to sell the flat she was living in which would have made her homeless she now lives in a Gunness partnership flat and we have heard a lot of bad stories so feel we have jumped out of the frying pan into the fire we had to cancel our holiday hubby was not up to the long drive to Liverpool for overnight ferry to Northen Ireland our New tent box hubby had spent all of 2022 attaching to a trailer stayed in the garage and didn't come out so no camping trips for us so I can say I'm looking forward to Christmas and a fingers crossed better 2024

Yes, 2023 has been a difficult one.
Age of 57 ended up with a burst appendix. Surgeons said it was one of the nastiest they had seen to clean up. Supposedly a very close one. Not helped with sitting on a chair in A&E for about 5 hours..
Then the shoulders went needing physio and that led to not going out up the hills and only one night away in the tent the whole year and now I have had Covid for a week. Result is lost fitness all round and just a feeling of stuff it all.
