Apparently someone is actually called that. Her parents asked other parents in the maternity unit what they had called their baby. They were Cockney and answered "Anne wiv an E" Oh they said, we don't like Anne but we do like Wivanee.

Its a surname in the states, I sort of indirectly actually know of one - I understand from them its a derivation of Wianke changed just after the war (to compensate for the English loose interpretation of that word misspelt and misspronounced), as for a first name its a bit of a shaggy dog story between "Anne with an E" and "Yvonne".   

As for generalisations about tiktokers let me see......Stephen Fry - yes, Professor Brian Cox - yes, Actor Brian Cox - yes, Dutch virologist for the centre for infectious diseases Jaap van Dissel - yes, Elton John - yes, Dua Lipa - performer, songwriter, political activist and advocate for LBGT+ rights - yes.   Jesus would be on tiktok if he were alive today. Shall I go on.......

Thats a great name, wonder if it was given at birth, a childhood nickname, or adopted later as an internet name to add the E to Lynne. Looks like someone who dances in the rain while noone is watching and believes friends are strangers you haven't met yet.

Some of our friends called their daughter Dekeisha, combination of Derek and Keisha - apparently its not so unusual in their community. Wouldn't have worked for me, I'd have been called Elizaken.

Thinking of those I know who believe theirs is a correction of Wianka, I also used to work with someone who's surname is Fagg. Apparently they were Polish and during the war change it from Flag to Fagg.
