Flown with both (also Flybee and Ryanair) so long as you stick to the terms and conditions then there is little to choose.
As for the comment about the TV programmes putting them off Easyjet, well good on time schedule flying makes boring TV and from what I have seen of these programmes 99% of the problems have been the passengers own making.
