We popped into GtYarmouth area this last few weeks and were amazed at the quality of the beaches, absolutely brilliant , well signposted for dog/no dog areas and beach activity seems well organised.her indoors was somewhat surprised at the shopping facilities in town or lack of, unless she missed something !!

We've lived in Norfolk for nearly 20 years and love it.I did move to Cambridgeshire for 2 years for work purposes and hated it. Moved back to Norfolk at the first opportunity. Now I live 200 yards from the River Yare.
Norfolk is very flat, which is probably why we appreciate Cornwall and Wales so much.

Although we love our caravan, we have just got back from a week on a boat in Norfolk, it was great, we sailed North and South broads, the weather was glorious and looks llike we will be saving for a week next year. It was just like a caravan on water, perfect x
we are just back from Woodhill park camping site where we spent 2 nights and it was brilliant - short drive from Cromer, loads lovely spots on that north coast road to stop at - we had a brilliant time and would love to go back.
its a long way to go from scotland but we really enjoyed it there - the small roads mean driving slowly usually caught up in traffic but hey, we were on our holidays and just relaxed and took in the views and the scenery.

We live approx 45mins away from coast and the beaches are excellent for dog walkers, Brancaster, and Holkham especially.
I went to Holkham beach last August for the first time after seeing part of it on a property programme a few months before, and I was well impressed. It's fabulous and I got some great photos, some of which are on my blog. Only one thing though, I don't recommend the coffee from the catering wagon at the end of the long drive - it tastes like that Camp stuff in a bottle and it's vile!

They didn't do them Louise, only snacky stuff like muffins, sausage rolls and sandwiches which, btw, were expensive.
