#40, Tan Hill is a good one. I was there only this morning.

There is Britain's highest pub there that allows camping.

Interesting thread.

I've done 12, AKA "the Applecross Pass", especially with me because I can't pronounce the Gaelic name!

Near Glossop, there is a big hill I drove up once, I can't seem to find it on the list.   But at the top, you could see all over Manchester, Liverpool, Blackpool and across to Snowdonia.

Done 67 too, very nice road (the A4069).   Wouldn't really call it Mid Wales myself but there you go.

Ah, I think so yes!   You go past big reservoir on the right I seem to remember, then when you get to the top there's a parking spot where you get the incredible view.

i think that's sounds more like woodhead pass morgz

snake pass doesn't have a peaked hill where you can park.

woodhead does (but both drive past a reservoir)
