We marinate breast of lamb with garlic, lemon juice, herbs etc then slow roast it until crispy and servie it with a rice salad and yogurt dip! Aboslutely gorgeous!

Getting back to breast of lamb,this use to be cheap as chips,around 25p a lb,then like belly pork became 'chefy' and the price shot up.
I share your views on supermarket meat. People just don't realise what it should taste like. I would stick to Stillman's though. Gerald David looks incredibly expensive.
I agree about Gerald David being expensive...I use to get a full side of free range pork all jointed to my specification for £65,now its £105.
And once I got a side of free range Gloucester Oldspot from Chatsworth farm shop,around £3 a kilo..It had a thick layer of fat but the meat tasted wonderful.
