When we moved in here, the previous owners had lined all the kitchen unit shelves with wallpaper and stuck it down with double-sided tape. When we removed it, we tried just about everything to remove the sticky residue, without success. Turps, nail polish remover, white spirit, every kitchen cleaner known to man, even a bit of petrol on a cloth, you name it, the residue remained.
Then we made a discovery......Avon Skin So Soft! Yep, the same thing you use to moisturise skin / keep mossies away, just give a quick spray, leave for a few minutes and then wipe away...no sticky residue!
It also works to effortlessly remove tree sap from cars.
Brilliant stuff!
