Like David says it could be any car park anywhere but I just wanted to warn others that theives are operating here.

If we'd been back five mins earlier he'd have not been in the car, he had literally just got over in to the back seat to look under the boot cover. Five mins later and he'd have been gone.

I really think we was picked on for having an old car, easy to break into, and for displaying UK plates. Am willing to bet they could get quite a haul targeting tourists.

I have to say that we have been to Cite de Europe dozens of times over the years and not had an issue. I am sure the risk of a car break in is no greater there than any big car park in the UK? Obviously never a pleasant experience.

we've been before with no issues, tho we'd not been for years. Ali says she's heard of issues before so it's obviously not a new thing.

Yes it could be any car park, but I think this one is targeted as the tourist cars could provide rich pickings.

We'd left nothing of value in the car, so nothing was on display, it's a beat up old volvo. So can only guess why he picked us?

The only valuables was our duty free which were in the boot, which thankfully he never even got sight off, as we came back before he got that far. And even our duty free wasn't that much tbh.
