With pet plan do they give a 10% reduction if you have more than one pet with them, also we have had a reduction when they thought I was going to stop our cat insurance.

But never had any complaints with then

10% discount if you book online, not sure if there is a multi-pet discount.

I had a cocker insured with Tesco. Initially it was cheaper than Petplan, although the excess was higher, but the premium increased substantially each year. Over a period of about seven years the premium increased from £9.99 to £19.99 per month.

With John Lewis Partnership, they pay vet direct according the form we've filled in. (Car and house with them too.) Good thing - new rescue Cocker broke her tail, had to have it amputated (it's now half the original length), needs painkillers plus antibiotics plus stuff to relax her as she was very agitated, and we're about to go back because she took off the bandage and took out the stitches last night so she has to go under again. Goodness knows what it'll cost!

Direct Line for us, two golden retrievers, now aged 4.
Girl and boy. Boys vet 'diagnosed' cancer and death within 6 weeks but said we should put him down the next day. That was 14 months ago!
Vet was wrong, we refused to put him down as we didnt agree with diagnosis. 5K+ of investigative/palliative? treatment later (seriously)! Vet admitted he was wrong but refused to pay compensation. Direct Line paid out each claim no quibble all settled in full. At £26.00 per month for two dogs, not bad. After claims and on renewal, it only went up by £2.40 per month. So we are very pleased. More pleased to have our dog though.

I went with John Lewis as they were top of the list according to Which, and they were reasonably competitive on price too.
