I have just got rid of BT, not all that it was ment to be, and after the introductory period it became very expensive, l was paying over £40pm for a very poor service, including basic line rental, but no extra tv pack. I had to stay locked in until the contract expired, or pay a penalty fee if l wanted to leave early equivelent to the cost of the packages remaining contract months.
Leaving them wasnt pleasent either, several pushy hard sales phone calls from them trying to get me into a further contract, and serveral delays and excuses for not sending me my pac code necesary for my transfere over to a new provider. In the end l had to threaten them that l would be contacting the ombudsman, before my code arrived, around 3 weeks late.
Im with Plusnet now, and im very happy with the customer care and service that they provide, and even better is that im only paying around half the amount that BT were charging me, and that rate is fixed for the entire length of my 12mth contract, and l also recieved a cheque for a £75 cashback offer for joining them, im well pleased.
