As a solo camper who can't bear the thought of driving on the wrong side of the road, let alone the distances involved, I'll just have to take my chances here! I don't cope with heat very well, so I doubt Provence would suit me anyway. I rarely go away from more than three or four nights these days, and don't drive as far as I used to, as I find it tiring. I think the longest I was ever away was ten days when I drove up to Skye - so I'll be hoping for a spell or two of settled weather in spring/early summer, to try and beat the three trips away I managed last year.
