Thanks to everybody for the advice, have been in touch with GMB and they are part of the process within school, school have until next Friday to see if anybody will take voluntary redundancies, after that we will have to sit maths and English skills test and then be interviewed for our positions.
I am just finishing my level 3 diploma so have decided to just go with the flow, If the worst happens then I shall go and do some supply work.

Think my daughter has most of the jobs. Since deciding she wanted to go to Uni to learn law she's left her nursery job. Since then has taken on an access to uni course (passed distinction), pub job, after school club supervisor and part time Teaching assistant. Also had a couple of brief jobs in retail but didn't like that.

I, along with about another 20 members of staff are being made redundant 31st August. Same thing happened at our school with costs, etc so off to start something brand new.
