My fault for messing about when everything was working ok and not understanding how CCleaner works.

UPDATE...just updated Adblock Plus and the Cotton Traders website seems to be working ok now so fingers crossed that was the problem.

When this happens to me, I find the only solution is to Restore the laptop back to a date when it was working properly, probably a few weeks ago. You don't lose any files. Worth a try, works a treat for me.

Unfortunately, in an effort to keep my laptop clean and running well I tend to regularly delete previous restore points
