just spent the last couple of hours downloading Kodi and setting it up, wow what a lot of work to find films and TV.
why not just go to Afdah or putlocker, type what you are looking for and bingo its there, no setting up, no loading, a couple of clicks and the film is playing.
you can select or search for a film and have it playing in app 20 seconds. no sign up no downloading, simple
Sorry kodi is now being deleated (or am i doing something wrong)
Interested in your comments so did a quick google of Afdsh and Putlocker and found loads of warnings about the sites having malware and harmful pop ups, but also found reviews saying they were safe to use!!
Back to my question about using a MX box or similar, whats the worst that could happen with such a box, if it gets infected so what bin it, unlike infecting a laptop or desktop.
------------- As I've told my psychiatrist, you can't have too many tents.
Yes Raf you can pick up malware etc almost anywere on the net now days, i have been using, Putlocker, Afdah and stageview now for the last 12 months without any problems
I supose that it could be down to having (add block plus)
to stop pop ups and several other very good programs to stop malware etc and all free
using these programs i have not had a single problem visiting and playing films from these sites
The other film program that i have mentioned above (stageview) has a download button that will download the film you are watching and only takes about 15 mins
The programs i use are
add block plus
Malwarebytes anti malware
Malwarebytes anti exploit
Ccleaner
Austlogics defrag
Avast security (free)
I brought the subject up of these programs because they are instant with no settinjg up.
I think the idea of the box is a good one and like you say if it goes wrong it goes wrong
Hoping the above is of use to any members oon the forum
