Telco stopped doing double the difference a while ago. It's a straight refund of the difference now. ASDA give you a £2 gift card.
I have had it on good authority that certain branches of Tesco still offer double the difference as it is still company policy although not widely advertised. (Know of one store where it is advertised outside the store)

Welsue's other half and also a ,Camper, Sailor and a nearly Outdoor Person.
not all asdas will give you a£2 card if there is a mistake on pricing. We have two local only one gives the card, if you even mention it in the other store you get a blank look. And we've mentioned it several times to various people!!

Campers do it in the mud!
Hubby says we can't camp as much this yr mmm we'll see!!
camped in 2009= 27nights
Booked for 2010 = 30 nights.
We are very fortunate that we have Asda, Tesco,Morrisons,Coop ,Aldi and Sainsburys all within 5 mins by car.We shop mainly ar Asda and also Aldi. The Coop is by far the most expensive,Morrisons and Tesco have some excellent offers but are dearer on other items.Sainsburts are the same.Asda beats those with their price promise. I always check the receipt on their website and more often than not I receive a voucher.I spent only £18 the other day but still received a voucher for £2.12.It was Tesco's turn to have Muller Yogurts at half price.I never used to check my receipts. I must have thrown away quite a few pounds! At the end of the day though you can't beat Aldi on prices.
