We've had the Police round about it. They won't do anything as he moves when we ask, fair enough, I'd just prefer not to possibly have to knock him out of bed, but if thats his wish!!
I'm afraid I would find lots of reasons to go out late at night or early in the morning. He'd soon get fed up with coming out in his jimjams to move his car.
A mate lived next door to someone who believed in the divine right to park outside their house. I parked on the opposite their house one night, leaving plenty of room for vehicles to get down the road. Someone came and knocked on her door at about midnight, asking if she knew who owned the black Mondeo. The bonkers neighbour had come back and parked opposite my car so not even a Smart car could get through. Luckily, I hadn't had a drink so was able to move it.
They were still up as well, but wouldn't answer their door. They were grumpy gits anyway, and all my mate's guests (and she did lots of entertaining) parked outside that house at every opportunity.
Damned irresponsible of them to block the road imo. It's a long road and they were about halfway down, so it would take a while for an emergency vehicle to back up and go round the other way.
