It's on for a fortnight once a year for heavens' sake! There are so many channels available now surely there must be an alternative worth watching for those who don't like tennis?

chelsea girl do you know Andy personally to make such a bold statement? I've worked with him - shooting him at both Wimbledon and Roland Garros - and I can tell you he would have made a great Royal Navy submariner! The guy is a nutter - bit of a lightweight when it comes to drinking - but up for a laugh.

I used to enjoy watching it in the days of Boris Becker, Ivan Lendl & Andre Agassi - much more watchable.
I cannot stand Andy Murray, he's so miserable.
Championship tennis requires a determination and concentration that is hard to understand unless you play it at that level.
The training alone is enough to make you cry. Bit much to say he is miserable and he certainly is not now. He would not have become the Champion if he had not been quite serious about it.
I just cannot believe just how painful the training is for any sportperson let alone a world champion.
Just well done Andy, you are a star and a record breaker.
I'm another one who don't understand it being on tv all day everyday for 2 weeks or that's how it seems, I watch 1 program a week on bbc2 top gear and that had to be moved because of the tennis, I can't stand any ball sports apart from rugby but the bit that annoys me most is that rallying is on hardly ever for half hour a week if I'm lucky
