Will be on Vilanova Park in Spain with the children and grandchildren flying in to enjoy a BBQ at the pool....... Still do the presents thing for the grandchildren, have no room to carry any more 😉

We are off to Florida for Christmas this year
We decided that as both our children are older that we would spend the holiday doing so ething different, this now involves friends that are coming from Texas, they have rented the villa next door.
So Christmas dinner is going to be a burger at a restaurnat in Universal!

I will take the 2 dogs and cat to hawkrigg farm ,Appleby in Westmoreland for Christmas and New year.I,ve doneChristmas for everyone for more years than icare to remember with no thanks,so this is going to be mytime,great pubs,lovely individual shops all decorated,dogs and cat welcome in cafes pubs and taxis.got a new 4 foot christmas tree to take,can,t wait.If anyody wants to join me--- feel free ,tents 7 quid which includes ehu ,caravans a tenner

I did the same for years working in a Police Custody Suite. Also memories of escorting the usual domestic contenders to A&E on Xmas and boxing day.
Now retired and miss it like the toothache

Yip, Vangoman.........Im working for 12 hrs on Christmas day in a hospital Blood Transfusion department . Each public holiday has its own character , Christmas Day usually ticks over till about 5pm when AE starts to liven up, first with burst ulcers as people eat huge meals , then later with alcohol related injuries and violence . ......Happy holidays indeed !!

I personally don't like Christmas (never really have) but I do the whole turkey and presents thing because of my family (hubby and boys), who all seem to like the festive season.
If I had a choice, I would go off somewhere on my own and just read and watch DVDs until all the tinsel has been taken down!
