I managed to gain 17lbs over the holiday period, weighing myself in the mornings. Since Monday I have lost 9lbs, most of it must be fluid! Just two more nights of alcohol supported drinking and back to the gym. No more spuds, bread, sugar or booze until I lose another stone.

3 pounds a day is easy - it's all fluids! 3 hours in the gym and sauna and eating the bare minimum. The first few days are easy, but when I get down to 18stone the weight loss slows down. Guess I'm just a natural fat old git.
No puds, no spuds, no bread, no rice and no booze works for me.

And of course don't flutter your eyelids too fast as they provide lift and you will weigh less
Oh! Dear! Just ate my last Ferrero Rocher and two pieces of chocolate. Having a biscuit with a cup of tea and that's it.Diet starts tomorrow. I'm not looking forward to it.

Sugar, potatoes, pasta, rice and bread (well not pasta because I don't like it) is about all I eat with a bit of meat, fish, and a pea or two thrown in. If I stop eating that I will die!

But how many times a day do you eat tht lot Bob? seven meals a day is not the way to get slim!
None of that will do you any harm provided you get the amounts right, same as drinking beer, the difference between enough to keep the blood thin & liver disease is just the amount you drink.
My goal was only a 2lb gain come January 5th when I go back to work. I've surpassed that as I'd gained it by 28th. I followed WW as best I could over Christmas but still eating a bit more than I should but it was Christmas! However, I've surpass d mys of the last few days by eating anything and everything! I've got a party tomorrow night and eating out that day and the next grrrr.
I have a gym membership and used to go in the morning before work but can't stand getting up so early, I won't go at night as I'm shattered after work. So I made a decision, I've bought a treadmill and I'm cancelling my gym membership. I will use it as I actually enjoy walking/jogging I just can't bare the gym!
So 5th January back to WW strictly and my treadmill will be here in around 9 days!
