As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?

What is a wing mirror.
Wing mirrors are critical safety features; they let you see what's in your blind spots when driving. It is illegal to drive without a driver-side mirror, and you can receive an MOT or NCT failure if either or both of your wing mirrors are not functioning properly. :)

Is that because they didn't have any pictures in them?
Sorry Bob couldn't resist it, but I spent 40 years plus reading law books and thankfully I have now retired from the practice of law.
Dave
p.s I have always had the greatest of respect for our police
pps I have heard all the lawyer jokes
Actually some did have pictures You will know that for some very strange reason laws are never written in plain English that everyone can understand...but then I guess that kept us all employed debating the true meanings.
So wing mirrors are from a time gone by, as motor vehicles generally now have door mirrors.
Ah, I get it.

Re Wing Mirrors, a lad I employed as a driver on HGV's and had been in the Army, where he used to drive the old Bedford RL 3 Tonners. Driving down the road one day he clipped and killed a cyclist who had been wobbling all over the place. The mirror clamping bolt had gone into the back of his skull.

To go back to the OP after various irrelevant skirmishes - how is your OH now?
Thank you borntoshop, he is a bit sore but getting there. We are waiting to hear from the man's insurance company and he is going to take his bike for assessment to make sure there is no damage that is not visible.

I would always go to the Countess for A&E - the waiting times are always said to be horrendous in Wrexham. Every time we've been to Chester we've been seen within a couple of hours no matter what time of day or night. Maybe we've been lucky. Hope you get it sorted anyway.
