I know exactly what you mean Dr Zhivago. I live in a village too. We have no problem regarding street name as that one is obvious, but where exactly do I live? There are three villages here all very close together, so close in fact that most people who live here don't really know where the boundaries actually are. Our postal address is one village, but that is not actually where I live. It is probably the biggest of the three, and the one that has a high street where a few shops are, but there is another village name on a signpost between it and where I live. All very confusing!

Some forms won't accept the address unless I include the nearest town, which is about 3 miles away. Some early sat-navs where you can't input a postcode can't find us either, even though the street has been here with the same name for at least 100 years.
