.... from the couple in the brand new 20-reg enormous £60K MH who have come onto the site after 3 days blocking the passing place at the back of the beach 100 yards from the site entrance. Man smirked when I asked if he was the MH I’d seen parked overnight for the last 3 days - “free camping” he said, “it’s great”. Probably what many are saying in so many places at the moment.

That wouldn't bother me.
In fact I'd delight in telling him/her just how fantastically expensive my tent is, and how superior it is, compared to the one mummy and daddy got from Halfords!

They'd practically be begging me to adopt them, by the time I've finished!    


Mucker, I cannot emphasise too strongly how important it is that you do NOT stand in your tent saying to small children “would you like to come and see my 350 pod? Would you like me to adopt you, little child?”.

...something wonderful, to be positive for a change. Even a daisy or a dandelion can be wonderful, if you avoid thinking of them as weeds. Daisy comes from the Old English for 'day's eye', and dandelion comes from the French 'dent de lion', referring to the jagged leaves that look like teeth.

Update. They were on last night without paying the site fee. That means no check-in process, no Covid security questions, no track & trace contact details. MH still here but freebies are away for the day. I suggested to management that they unplug the cable and require the payment of the £25 pn to get it back.
