I also have Covid.
I was up in Buttermere last week, excellent 3 days hiking, returned home Thursday night.
On Friday I started with a cold and couldn't keep warm, did test on Saturday (negative) Now wife started with a cold, both tested positive today ☹️ I'm feeling a bit better today, but now both isolating.
Get well soon!

If I don’t have it by this time next week I will know that I have excellent immunity. I was involved in running a big event last Thursday for a lot (so many I lost count) of sixth form students from several different schools and colleges and my colleague who was running it with me has just tested positive.
Fingers firmly crossed for you that you don't get it, and if you do, hopefully, the symptoms are mild.

The last 2 taxis we have taken - one being only the other day, the drivers were wearing masks. On chatting about the virus, it turned out that not only had neither driver had any jabs, but neither did they believe the virus was real. So why the masks? I only thought about this after id got out of the last taxi. The next one is going to have some explaining to do.
My symptoms aren't bad, but I've given it to my wife who is really suffering with a really bad cough.
Will retest tomorrow.
The one trip when I didn't wear my mask.
We both had Covid in April, I got it off OH, 3 days after he had slept all day, aching (blaming the aches on working in the garden). We both tested positive until my day 13 (his day 16) & stayed at home until then. My symptoms continued for another week: deep racking cough, sore ears & throat, lost my voice. So that was much of April gone for us.
I have continued to mask up on buses & in supermarkets, knowing we can still catch it again. Statistics up here state 10% have not been vaccinated & 5% have only had the first jag.
We count our dose of Covid as our second booster, as we’re too young to get the jag.
