The person we sold our Mitsubishi to had it recently. We have had all our jabs, plus shingles and pneumonococol(sp), only the last one made me feel ill.

I had Covid at the beginning of September, it was way worse than flu. I am still experiencing bad fatigue, and gunged up airways. Not only that, but I have had to cut back my work because it was getting dangerous due to the fatigue. The other issue is my sense of smell has been damaged, and I can smell dog poo all the time. I spent ages trying to find the source of the smell before I realised it was my smell sense that was damaged.

My friend and I had it summer '22 after a day trip to London. I've had all available jabs and boosters. It's still out there, a friend on the south coast had it recently; it's just at a more manageable level so not making the news any more because of everything else going on. I've seen quite a few people wearing masks in the supermarkets.

It's still about, know a few people who've tested positive when feeling rough, but it seems the jabs are doing their stuff, and it's not anywhere near as bad an infection as it could be for the vast majority.

A friend works in the labs at a major London Hospital, they still spot it in testing, but very rarely is it the sole cause for admission these days, and seemingly not regarded as a huge threat to all as it once was.

Wechad it in May, picked up on a river cruise. I thought itvwas a bad cold but did a test- positive. Not pleasant like a very bad cold. It lasted about 10 days. Clear test after about 7 days.
We have both had all the vaccinations.

The vaccine doesn't necessarily prevent infection it reduces the severity if you do catch it.

We both got it late September. We had previously been slack-arsed in getting our boosters, which we had been chivvied for by text. I wasnt so bad, but it floored the mrs for a fortnight. We paid the price for not taking the boosters seriously. Wont happen again!
