Before I got my little neoprene dog poop carry bag, when on the beach Darcy did his business I used to pick it up and put it in my coat pocket until we got to the bins - lovely hand warmer on a cold day
One day I had just put him back on his extendable lead and thought I would throw his tennis ball one last time - unfortunately for me I threw it a bit further than the length of his lead, by the time he got to the end of his lead he was at full spaniel speed and it took me right of my feet flat to the ground, kissing the sand - that in itself was embarrasing, but the worst was yet to come, as I walked a little further on, a rather strong smell was coming from me - the poop bag in my pocket had burst and...... my car keys were in the same pocket.
Fortunately I have a bottle of spare water in the car and was able to unlock the car using the keyfob through my coat - washed the keys off, folded the coat up and left the beach in a hurry, with head down in shame
I still pick up my dogs poop

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
