Provence in France. Love the climate, the food the beaches and the lifestyle. We go whenever we can and have two trips planned this year (both not camping). I would love to retire and move there but prices not as cheap for properties as they used to be and France overall is quite expensive now so moving there does not mean pension would go any further.

I spoke to my mate today, he's working here as an electrician as he can do overtime and work as long as he likes and earn as much as he can. He's bought a hectare and a bit of land with an old run down property on it over there on his credit card! Says it's his retirement project. He's only about 30...
All right for some..

If you say to people you're going to Florida for your holidays everyone seems to assume Orlando........but we have done the parks several times and about 10 years ago discovered the Gulf coast, and we love Boca Grande, its a little bit of old fashioned Florida, no chain stores no chain restaurants, fantastic beaches.......really expensive, so I'm banking on a lottery win............
I wouldn't leave. I love where I live now in Lancashire. I like knowing that if my kids are poorly I don't have to think is it worth spending £100 on a doctors appointment, I just take them and get seen. I like the school they go to. I like walking down the road to the shop and seeing half a dozen people I know. I like the beautiful countryside on my doorstep and the wealth of history and culture within an easy drive. I like my job. I like the big city half an hour away that I still think of as my home town. I like a proper cup of tea, because no matter what you do, its never the same anywhere else.
