My thanks to those who gave ficklejade her real name. Next time anyone posts a question about Mull, Jenny’s answers will still be available here & most probably will still apply. I said once that she’d written enough for a small book.
I've been away from the forums for quite some time so only just catching up with things. I'm so sorry to read this shock news, I remember ficklejade well and she gave me lots of good advice and suggestions when I was planning a holiday in Scotland one year.
RIP Jenny, I hope you got your wish xx

Where have you been Eunice? Good to see you posting again
It's just been a case of life getting in the way Anne. Following the theft of my van in August 2019 it took me a while to replace all the camping stuff that went with it, though the vehicle itself was replaced fairly quickly. Didn't go anywhere in 2020 thanks to Covid and just two holidays last year up in the Lakes. Also changes on the home front and at work, plus I've been concentrating on writing my blog, very often staying up until stupid o' clock to finish a post. I rarely watch tv and have no time for smart phones and the like but depriving me of my pc and blog writing would be like cutting off my arms!
I felt quite choked up to read about ficklejade, I don't know how old her son is but I hope he's okay.

I haven't posted on here for ages and haven't looked on here for ages but have been a member for what seems like forever.
Very sad news in this post RIP Jenny.
I just saw a post in the campsite forum saying RIP, I had no idea about this awful news, it's a real shock. A fountain of local knowledge on here and also a valuable part of the car rallying family with all the support she gave to events both on Mull and much further afield. RIP Jenny.
