While food shopping on Saturday, we parked our Range Rover next to a Jeep Cherokee, both parked within the lines and the driver/ passenger of the Jeep got back into their car and out of the space without any problems. When we came out of the Sainsbury's a normal car had parked in the space the Jeep had come out of (lots of empty parking spaces around the car park) and the driver proceeded to struggle to get out of his car without hitting his door on mine, the main problem being his gut would not fit through the gap properly (why he did not park somewhere that gave him the space is beyond me). Some of the worse parking I have seen has been by Micra, Fiesta size cars, with one Micra parking right in the middle of two spaces, no disabled badge. One Fiesta driver a few doors away either parks with one side on the kerb or over a foot away from the kerb depending on how she was able to swing into the space.
