As this post has now been resurrected, its only fitting that I mention that my old Brother printer is still going well on the cheap £6.29 inks

Indeed. I have a Brother B&W laser printer which I've had for years, and that's still going strong too. When I do need to print something in colour, which is rare, I use an Epson inkjet which still has half the ink left in a set of cartridges I bought about two years ago.

I thought Saxo1, might have dropped in on this update as Saxo1 had signed upto the HP "instant ink" print upto 15 pages per month free for life.
Well guess what, HP have pulled the plug on that as of the end of this year, I wonder how many folk will notice that they are now paying for what they thought was free.

As is my Canon BJ10 - up to Win7, haven't tried Win10 yet - but mainly used if/when I need to print old stuff off my Amiga 512..... I did get a (borrowed works) HP Laserjet 5 to work on it, but my own lasers don't...
