Erm benidoom ( typo intended ) is not Spain lol. It's an alien planet. The costa del still also usually has slightly different weather.

Thats what most people say that have never been there, its not all about the area with clubs and madness! which suits the younger crowd, as we have all seen on the telly.
There is more to the area than the new town as its known, I have not stayed in that part myself, I prefer the old town and the towns /villages around Benidorm for day trips.
I also holiday in Costa Del Sol which also has areas I wouldn't want to go, as all places have.
