Son No.2 was hit by a car round the corner a few years ago. His fault for not stopping on his bike at the edge of the playing field. Just shot out from the bushes. But apparently that didnt matter according to them. The driver who was driving on the road at a slow speed should have stopped!!! Never mind he had had a hell of a shock himself.

Kept ringing us for a while. I told them I would sue them for harassment after a while - that shut them up.

J+J15 and DOBSONK, these were the actual insurers, yes, the companies whose names appear on the policies and certificates of motor insurance, not some agents or assessors or adjusters or some other organisations ?

If they were the insurers, I find the industry I worked in from age 17 till I retired has changed so much as to be unrecognisable. If they were the actual insurers I can only wonder whether the employees involved were selling the data on the side.

I can think of no other reason why they appear to be encouraging add ons to the claims.

If they were the insurers, I'm not going to speak on insurance threads again. It's so different and has changed so much I have nothing useful to add. That saddens me.

because he made out i hit him from behind full on yet the damage, video and photos show where and how it happened, but the insurance weren't interested even with witness he is still disputing i was at fault.
he was racing to cut into my lane as the carriageway splits into 2 sections 1 lane for straight ahead and 1 for round the round about,
all clearly marked on the road yet when he pulled away he was heading into the lane i was originally in to head home.
He also said when i honked the horn he thought it was because he had gone through a red light and slammed on ?
so if he had stayed in his lane i wouldn't have touched him when he slammed on

The insurance are even sending me photos of all those in the car to see if i can recognize the driver and who was in the car

but its funny that all the time Ive tried to contact the insurance since the accident its only now they want all the relevant info.
