Is there anyone else out there who uses 3 Mobile broadband who has found that over the last week or so their mobile broadband has been restricted? Word on the street is that thay have squeezed speeds down to that of dial-up. I have my iPad on 3 as well as my phone, and for Internet purposes my iPad and phone are useless unless connected to a wireless network. Apparently it started a short time ago where they were squeezing high users from afternoons through the evening. Now it appears to be everyone all the time. I have a 15gb data allowance pm on my iPad but rarely go over 5gb, and my phone is one the One Plan with unlimited data but I rarely use mure than 1gb per month. I thought it was all too good to be true! We have 5 Three contracts in our household, soon to be zero. As usual complaining did no good at all.

No probs with 3 for me either and I have been away in 'van for past couple of weeks in three different areas with all giving me about the same speed. It may be a contention issue on your local aerial or that the HPSA side of things is faulty and needs resettting/replacing.

I have 3 contracts with 3 (used to have mobile broadband too but got the one plan so wireless tether now)

I also live in Leeds and do not suffer with any issues with speed, regularly 5+mb and upload of 2+.

As a sports photographer i am regularly uploading 30-40gb of photos whilst on location (as well as uploading backups to web storage on Virgin 50mb when i get home )

I often experience speed problems with 3 , but I live on the reception edge , not noticed it's been any worse recently either , there customer service is a lot better these days , and have a tech dept solely for sorting out dongle problems , try to get through to that particular dept , I've had help from them on a number of occasions , testing the ping speed and how to clear the cache and browsing history ,, I'd like to know how to wireless tether though? As my mobile is also on the one plan
