we're in the process of finalising our next trip to the Lake District and noticed on Google Maps (street view) that there's a Morrisons and an Aldi opposite each other, just outside of Kendal on Queen Katherine's Avenue, however this particular Aldi isn't showing up on their store locator search even tho it appears in other Google searches...can someone who lives in the area or has visited the area recently please confirm that this branch of Aldi no longer exists...?...having the two stores almost side by side meant that we could have done all our shopping in one place, saving us some valuable holiday time...

Aldi has been here in Kendal since about 1993 & still here, or at least it was when i drove passed yesterday.
The two stores are less than a minutes walk from each other.

Aldi was still there last week when we went into it-directly opposite the morrisons and if you fancy a new car, theres 3 car dealers there too.

We were in it over Easter.
There's also a Pets at Home in the same place.
We love Kendal and the surrounding area - enjoy!

Morrisons, Comet, Halfords, Pets At Home, Pund Stretcher, Next and JJB (Morrisons petrol station
Across the road there's the car dealer (Kendal Motor Village - I think it's Seat, Honda and Citroen) Carpetright and Aldi
There's also an Aldi in Penrith next to a Halfods and now a GO Outdoors just up the road and Cranstons Food Hall is a must if you're in the area
