We have just arrived back from 2 weeks in Wales. We were in Bala during the 'flooding' incident further west. We travelled from Bala to Barmouth the day after (Sat) and the roads were fine, although the rivers were high and the fields flooded. After Barmouth we travelled through Aberystwyth/Tal-y-Bont to Aberaeron. Weather was great by then but there's obviously a bit clean up operation underway. 
There's more rain forecast but the roads around that area certainly seemed to cope last weekend so hopefully you'll be OK?
