For all you confirmed Francophiles that miss those I litre jars of fish soup that taste of French seaside holidays, I bought some in my local Lidl yesterday for £1.45 - - I've never seen them for sale in the UK before, and the price is much cheaper than buying them in France.

I always buy the escargot from Lidl, £2.99 for a pack of 12 in thier shells, so yummy!.

Thanks, will need to make a trip there.   Does anyone know if they have their frozen Steak Hache in stock? They are great but they haven't had any in with their "French" stock so far.
