We are due to start a 4 week summer UK tour at the end of this month through to the begining of September, leaving our daughter and her partner to look after the house in our abscence, the problem is that we have already had two of our sites cancell our bookings due to waterlogged pitches and today we recieved an email from the CC asking if we were definately still requiring our Sandringham pitch as they were struggling for spaces due to their grass pitches being sodden and unusable.
As long as we can get to our destinations safely then we shall still travel rain or shine, the only pitch I have some concerns about is on the CC Broadlands site, as the access road is prone to flooding and being so close to the river we could possibly wake up to wading through water in the morning.
We are due up on the West Ayton CC site mid September, and are hoping that it may have dried up a little by then.
