Hi, has anyone been on the studio tour at Leavesden? Thinking of booking a tour during half term as a surprise, kids aged 14 and 11 very big Potter fans. Just wondered if it was worth it? Thanks
Lou
My 16 year old went with grandma last week. She said it was brilliant. Grandma and grandad also really enjoyed it, Apparently drinks and food weren't too expensive either. However there are places to eat picnic if you prefer. Very booked up at weekends and school holidays.
Thanks for the info, I have had a look on their website and the dates we are interested in have good availability. I think my kids would enjoy it too. Got to decide about staying near by or just going for the day . We are in Bristol.
We took our 15 year old son, he has always been a big HP fan, and i must say we all really enjoyed it. The most amazing bit saved for the end. We too were pleasantly surprised that drinks and snacks were reasonably priced.
Me and hubby went and it is fantastic! Even if you aren't a HP fan (we are) the film stuff is amazing. And the Butterbeer - not alcoholic! - is like every sweet you've ever had - delicious but very sweet!! Enjoy
Thanks very much for the replies we are going to book and try to keep it a secret til half term. Probably stay with the inlaws in London and do British museum the next day.
