The chicken in white sauce is nice from Morrisions, Lightly fry an onion, mushrooms if you have any and a pepper ans serve on top of some boiled rice.

How about camp stew.  Tin of good stewing beef, tin of spuds and tin of mixed veg or peas and carrots.  A one pot wonder.  I couldn't eat it at home but great for under canvas.

Or, corned beef hash, fry an onion in frying pan, add tin of chopped corned beef and then add some smash, made in a jug with hot water, oh and a squirt of tomato sauce.

Never tried the pure chicken breast but sure I could come up with something  -  let me think on

Was getting into your menus ,,,,, until the tomato sauce came out... Yuk!!!

Meant to say tomato sauce is optional Lissabuff  -  a dash of Worcestershire sauce maybe.. just something for a bit of 'kick'

I find that stuff like this can vary so much from brand to brand.  The Corale short cut spaghetti form Aldi is really good, loads of spaghetti rather than tomato sauce.  I mix this with a tin of mince for an instant spag bol for luches - great at home with two hundry kids and when camping.     Great on toast.

Thank you for all the replies.

I usually do all my shopping online so I really do not want to have to shop when I'm on holiday, life's too short.

You have given me some great ideas, thank you

Sarah
