I have just googled the consultant for Arrowpark, he seems to be one of 10 leading consultants, who specialises in abnormal uterine bleeding, menorrhagia, fibroids ect. I do not understand that the clinic said that Arrowpark does not deal with my condition. When they do. But was directed to a different hospital. Am I being too finicky and except the hospital which they choose, rather than the one which I would prefer? Arrowpark is only up the road, easy to either drive or even take a taxi to, if need be. Liverpool Womens would be at least 2 buses. Or through the tunnel if I drive. heath63
If the consultant specialises in that, it seems it would be ideal for you. Don't be fobbed off by office staff trying to fit you into a clinic to suit themselves.

Hi everyone, An update. It had taken months back and forth to the hospital. Ken was brill taking me to my appointsments for various things. I had my endometrial ablation Jan 17th. I wish I had it done when I first asked. I have an appointment in May. To make sure it was successful. I had to make sure that may blood pressure controlled, one of my medication was increased. I suffer from White Coat Syndrome, which makes it difficult. At home it's ok. at the clinic or hospital. It goes right through the roof. I still have a little discharge, but normal. My Bp, is so much better. also feel a lot more chilled, much calmer person, like I use to be before it became uncontrollable. No longer do I have moodswings. So much more stable now. I didn't realise how much they affected me. Ken and Son have noticed a big difference in me. Thank you everyone for the encouragement and thoughtfullness. heath63
