I have just stripped our chimney breast of wall paper that has been on for years and umpteen coats of paint on top of it. Got some wallpaper stripper solution and all I can say is "wow", it's great stuff. The paper has come off so easy, at one point I was just rolling the paper off the wall. I don't know if its the solution I have used or its the fact that the paper is old or because it's on the chimney wall (would that make a difference?) I know some walls paper comes off a dream and others you wish you had never started. It has got me tempted to strip the whole room hmmmm decisions decisions.
