Hi All

Ive recieved a letter in post today from the Liquidator of the lost weekend in Rutland informing me that not only has the event been cancelled,that Ticket holders may not recieve any refunds

Anyone else in the same situation ?

I dunno about this £100 and the reason I mention this is cos of something that happened to me.

I brought an item at truckfest and it was supposed to be made and delivered, After several wks it didn't arrive and the bloke wasn't answering his phone etc etc. I did a charge back tho under what grounds I'm not sure ( as I know there is a couple) And got my money back in full from credit card. Amount was £30

You can get a chargeback on a debit card in certain circmstances and there is no minimum amount as there is with a credit card

( btw with a credit card it is the cost of the item or service that applies so if you have paid for something costing over £100, even if you only paid a £1 deposit with your card, you are covered)  

Did I just get lucky then?

My item was £30 in total paid for fully by credit card and I got my £30 back in full, w/o any arguing from the credit card company too!! I called explained goods not arrived, form to fill in. Sent form back money refunded - didn't even have to chase them!!
