Slightly off topic but think Scotland could be in for a bad winter - the rowan berries came early and are more than plentiful. The last twice there were so many we'd had horrendously cold winters.

I sometimes get the feeling that they could not accurately predict yesterday's weather.
It is very frustrating when you look at the local forecast and it it tells you glorious sunshine and it is actually tipping it down - or vice versa when you have decided against something because of the forecast.

they might need to upgrade there seaweed or pine cones they use or maybe just look out the window and see whats going on. used to phone up Birmingham airport too see what weather was going to be like they were very good and cheep/free plus they could be very funny...

and to steviem.............I agree I've always said that people on the coast rely on tourists so much a wrong forecast can be deverstating to their business.
