Please don't laugh at me but I only use my mobile for calls, the odd pic and texts. It's a Nokia 6330 Classic and I would like to know how to transfer some text messages to my desktop pc - they're very personal and precious as last ones from a treasured relative across the other side of the globe. Can anyone help a totally non-techie lady, please?

I've no idea how to do that but, as a last resort, would it be possible to actually take some close-up photographs of your mobile phone with the messages displayed?
------------- Always edited for sloppy typing - when I spot it!
Have you made sure you have pressed them for SAVED messages. I did one whilst on our 10 week camp as I wanted a certain website/phone number.
My one has the cord to the pc to download the pictures the onboard camera takes. Have never tried to download messages as yet as never needed to.
Yet could it be worth SAVING them AFTER you have made a copy of them. So that the copy ones you can try to see if they do download , yet still saving the original.
You can do this by changing your settings to use MMC memory rather than phone memory. Then place in My Folders.
On computer: Open PC Suite icon on your desktop, click add phone, follow direction till you are connected by use of USB wire. Sync phone with computer to save your messages etc
As stated above, if you load Nokia Suite on your computer it will save all of your messages etc, providing you have the necessary USB cable to connect your phone to the computer.
